This communiqué to Chapter Leaders is designed to provide you with notification that the Board of itSMF has confirmed that its Annual General Meeting is to take place on 25th September at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Centre in National Harbour, Maryland, USA.

Further details will be issued, in line with the statutory notification process together with voting slips and resolutions, shortly.

2. Election

ITIL 2011 Edition, the updated version of the ITIL Lifecycle Suite, will be available on 29th July.

The conference theme is Building Bridges, which is aimed at IT Service Management from the strategy for improvement, which summarizes the presentations where we go from Theory to Practice and from technology to services. The ITIL Managing across the Lifecycle (MALC) qualification is currently undergoing a review as part of APM Group's continual service improvement process. As part of the review project and stakeholder consultation a number of surveys have been created.

The surveys are targeting MALC students, their sponsors, ATOs and trainers, and are available for completion in English, German and Japanese. APM Group would like to gather stakeholder feedback on MALC qualification, particularly on MALC syllabus, course and exam, and welcome any suggestions for improvement.

We are pleased to announce the publication of the latest edition of our International Magazine "At Your Service".
