ITSMF International announces new Board Composition.

ITSMF International Limited announces the re-election of 2 existing Board members, the election of 2 new Board members and the appointment of 2 co-opted members to the International Board.

Following a Board Election process, ITSMF International has announced the election of Phyllis Drucker and Tom Fossett to the International Board of the Company.

Phyllis was nominated by the US Chapter and Tom by the Spanish Chapter.

Both Phyllis and Tom are well known and highly respected members of the ITSM Community and their willingness to stand for election has been well received.

In all, 6 candidates were nominated for election.  Michael Imhoff and Ulf Myrberg stood for re-election as a result of the expiry of their terms in office and both were successful in gaining re-election for 2-year terms to the 31st March 2020.

Barry Corless remains on the Board until the 31st March 2019.

Kathryn Heaton and Vinay Jain, having been nominated at last year’s elections by the Australian and Singaporean Chapters respectively, found it necessary to resign from the Board due to business reasons as at the 31st December 2017.  As a result, Tom and Phyliss were elected to fill these casual vacancies for the unexpired terms of Kathryn and Vinay’s terms of office and will retire by rotation on the 31st March 2019.

In addition, the Board have appointed Clive Keylard, Chair of the New Zealand Chapter and Harry Powell, Board member of the Australian Chapter, as co-opted members for a 1-year term to the 31st March 2019.

Acting Chairman Michael Imhoff stated that “the re-election of the 2 existing members of the Board, the election of 2 new passionate and committed ITSMF members, and the co-option of 2 additional members, given the workload being experienced in running the International Company, will provide ongoing stability and will hopefully inject some much-needed energy and momentum to the work of the Board.  In particular, there is heightened interest from many areas in forming new Chapters of the Forum or in reforming previously existing Chapters, which will require resourcing from the Board members and existing Chapters”.

Bios of the Board Members will be posted to the website in due course.
