Who we are and what we do

itSMF International is a global organisation for IT Service Management professionals across the world that

• provides a global IT Service Management community based on national local Chapters;
• sets a code of practice and rules under which Chapters operate;
• protects the trademarks of itSMF;
• provides overall governance for the community through a Board of Directors;
• is open to all service management frameworks;
• acts as a bridge between countries, regions, communities, people, processes, and tools;
• is supportive of existing Chapters in each of our regions and encourage their growth;
• establishes strategic partnerships with other communities and main partners;
• connects itSM Professionals across the globe to one another. and
• is funded by a levy paid by Chapters.
