Call for volunteers for New itSMF International Chapter Development Committee

The itSMF International Board is seeking volunteers from the itSMF community to serve on the now-forming "itSMF International Chapter Development and Support Committee" (iDaSC), initially to be chaired by Ken Wendle, Director of Chapter Services.

This committee will be responsible for, among other things, the following tasks:

  1. Review current Chapter Development Process (CDP) to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Define and document an improved Chapter Development Process.
  3. Define and document roles and responsibilities associated with the Chapter Development Process (e.g.., Chapter Mentors)
  4. Define and document qualifications and training for those roles

Qualifications for volunteers include:

  1. itSMF Chapter member in good standing
  2. Willingness to commit approximately 3- 6 hours per month for meetings and related tasks
  3. Business process design, role definition and documentation experience
  4. Also desired is experience with and understanding of organization (ideally, itSMF Chapter) establishment and development
