Chapter Conference

Due to the damaging floods in Nashville, the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center sustained heavy damage and will not reopen until October or later. Because of our commitment to the region and to our attendees, we moved quickly to relocate as close as possible to the original site while maintaining the same event dates. We are pleased to announce that the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky has provided us with a fabulous new venue for itSMF USA Fusion 10.

For 10 years, the itSMF USA Fusion convention has given Service Management professionals the opportunity to learn directly from those people in the industry who have firsthand experience conquering challenges and developing solutions.

The Chapters of Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Macedonia held their 3rd itSMF Regional Conference, held this year at Lake Ohrid, Macedonia and hosted by the itSMF Macedonia Chapter.

ITIL -"The name of the game" - another successful conference has been brought to an end.
This year's itSMF conference 2009, the seventh in the row, is finished. Close to 500 participants had an enjoyable time with many interesting lectures and workshops. The atmosphere was ecstatic and the participants were very enthusiastic.

On February 25th 2009, the Hong Kong chapter organized the ITSMF Hong Kong Conference 2009 at Renaissance Harbour View Hotel, Wanchai, Hong Kong. The theme of the event was "Service Management in the Midst of the Global Financial Crisis". The participation was overwhelming with an attendance of more than 130 people.

The 3rd itSMF Regional Conference (for former Yugoslavia countries) will be taking place 27 - 29 May at Lake Ohrid, Macedonia and the Regional Events committee is looking for relevant presentations.

The 2009 itSMF Finland Conference will be taking place 08 - 09 October in Espoo area and the Finnish Events committee is looking for relevant presentations.
