SIAM goes global with the launch of the SIAM Foundation Body of Knowledge


As more and more organizations source their services externally, supplier selection and management capabilities grow in importance.  This has led to the development of a new management methodology – service integration and management (SIAM). 


SIAM introduces the concept of a ‘service integrator’ – a management layer that sits between a customer organization and its service providers.  The service integrator provides governance, integration and coordination to make sure the customer gets the best possible service, and reduces their supplier management overhead.


Scopism, a UK start up, has worked with SIAM practitioners around the world to develop the SIAM Foundation Body of Knowledge.  Supporting the newly launched SIAM Foundation certification offered by EXIN and BCS, the BoK introduces SIAM, including its definition, history, structures and challenges.
