itSMF Italy - Call for Papers - 2010 Conference

For many years, itSMF promotes the spread of IT Service Management best practices in Italy and many
organizations have started their journey in order to adopt them. The subject of our Conference is "IT Service
Management: where we are and where we want to go". From one side the goal is to explore the situation in our
country, the level of maturity achieved and the main difficulties found. From the other side the attention will be
focused on the future, to understand which are the next steps that organizations are undertaking to improve their
maturity.

Important News Alert: itSMF USA Fusion 10 Changes Location due to Nashville Flood

Due to the damaging floods in Nashville, the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center sustained heavy damage and will not reopen until October or later. Because of our commitment to the region and to our attendees, we moved quickly to relocate as close as possible to the original site while maintaining the same event dates. We are pleased to announce that the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky has provided us with a fabulous new venue for itSMF USA Fusion 10.

itSMF Ireland AGM & Membership Event

itSMF Ireland (www.itsmf.ie) are pleased to announce that their AGM will take place in the Camden Court Hotel, Dublin on Thursday May 27th. This is a key event for the Chapter and we encourage all members to make every effort to attend.

itSMF Slovakia's 2010 AGM

Two years of IT Service Management Forum Slovakia existence were celebrated in December 2009. Second annual general assembly was held on February 18th 2010 in Bratislava.

The itSMF UK Annual Conference and Exhibition call for papers is now open.  The conference is taking place on the 8th & 9th November in a brand new location - The Novotel London West Hotel.

itSMF Belgium 2010 Conference - Call for Speakers

After a successful Conference last year on March 19th 2009, itSMF Belgium is preparing for its next conference.

The 2010 event will take place on March 18th 2010 at Metropolis,  Antwerp.

As in previous years we are seeking for service management key players and highly skilled rofessionals who are willing to share their experiences on service management.

itSMF Egypt - Joint session with Microsoft Egypt

itSMF Egypt Chapter has held a joint session with HERO (The Microsoft Egypt IT Pro Community, one of itSMF Egypt partners) on Sunday Nov. 15th, around the topic ITIL Overview.

The session was hosted by Microsoft Egypt, and offered for free to members of the IT community in Egypt. The session started by introduction to the itSMF organization and the Egyptian chapter, and then followed by a walkthrough ITIL V3 modules overview, all presented by volunteer itSMF Egypt members, and extended for a full day.

itSMF Italy elects new President

The Board of Directors of itSMF Italy on Monday 26 October elected a new President in the person of Alessio Cuppari.

I'm really proud to represent itSMF Italy, an association that has experienced steady growth over time and has managed to attract people who see in IT Service Management an important resource for IT.

I wish to thank on behalf of the entire Board of Directors our outgoing President, Stefano Bellin, who had to leave his post because of his increasing work commitments (we are a 'group of "volunteers").

itSMF Malaysia hosts 2nd annual international conference

itSMF Malaysia held their 2nd Annual Conference on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Cititel Mid Valley hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The Conference is the second since it's inception in 2008, and drew more than 177 partipants.

This year's event promised to be more interesting than last - with its catch phrase "ITSM- implement value-added solutions".
We highlighted more than 10 vendors who are experts in processes, tools and leaders in the industry, with a record 14 speakers running 2 parallel tracks in the afternoon.
