New itSMF Belgium Board elected

Recently itSMF Belgium held scheduled board elections and it is with great enthusiasm that I present to you, as the new chairman of the organisation, the newly elected board.
The newly elected board comprises:
- Steven De Smet: Chairman
- Paul De Cooman: Treasurer
- Maurits Baeyens : Secretary
- Filip De Pessemier: Boardmember
- Rudy Mariën: Boardmember
The new board members will continue the work of the previous board and further build on the organization to become the biggest independent service management organization within Belgium. The purpose is to share ideas and practices about service management and support all you in delivering high quality (ICT) Services.
We are happy to see that our member community has grown significantly over the last 3 years by more than 100 %. I remember the first member events where itSMF had about 10 visitors. This year we have already staged 2 events with almost 100 participants and a very successful conference that attracted more than 300 attendees.
The itSMF International Executive Board extends its thanks to Bart Van Brabant for his service to the itSMF over the past seven years and wishes him all the best for the future"
