Keith Aldis steps down as itSMF International Company Secretary

Keith Aldis, the long standing Company Secretary for itSMF International (itSMFI) has announced his intention to step down from its governing body, the International Executive Board (IEB). In an e-mail to the IEB Chairman, David Cannon, in March, 2010, it was agreed that a handover period would take place culminating in Keith's final IEB meeting and thus resignation effective from 31st May 2010. In handing off to the IEB during their meeting in New Zealand, Keith confirmed that he would continue to support the IEB in its transitional period up to the end of July and also continue to support the itSMFI from the itSMF UK Chapter.

Keith is the Chief Executive of itSMF Limited, the UK Chapter which is the largest and most active within the movement and has been the Company Secretary and CEO for itSMFI since April 2007.  He stepped down as CEO of itSMF International in September 2009.

In the meantime, with agreement from the IEB, Ben Clacy, the UK Chapter's Head of Business Development has accepted the itSMFI Company Secretary role, which is a volunteer position, certainly until itSMFI's AGM which is due to take place in Malaysia in October 2010.
