Problem Management as a process is practiced within
many organisations but often only as a reactive "fire-fighting" exercise. The
true benefits of Problem Management, and indeed any service management
implementation, come with the addition of the pro-active elements of the
process.

Often misunderstood as simply carrying out trending on incident
information there is much more to Problem Management. Problem Management could
allow you to reduce incident levels quite dramatically, increasing customer
satisfaction and so ultimately increasing your revenue or reducing your
costs.

Problem Management is a very specialist area with many tools and
technologies needing to be understood. Often Problem Managers come from a
technical background so that they are able to translate between the technical
staff and the customer.

This seminar will give you the opportunity to
hear from some true Problem Management practitioners on the methods which they
have seen to work and also some of the pitfalls which they have come
across.
