itSMF Spain Academic Congress 2008 - Call for Papers

itSMF Spain and the Carlos III University of Madrid Computer Science Department are organising a conference on IT Service Management, which will be held in the CarlosIII University (www.uc3m.es), Madrid, Spainon May 13 (9:30 to 14:30).
This will also be serving as a meeting for researchers, student and practitioners interested in the areas of IT service management life cycle:
- a) IT Service Management Strategy.
- b) IT Service Management Design.
- c) IT Service Management Transition.
- d) IT Service Management Operation.
- e) Continual IT Service Management Improvement.
Other participating Universities: Universidad de Alcalá, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad Pompeu Fabra y Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
The conference will cover all topics related to information technology service management including: ITIL business cases, ISO 20000, CMDB, service level management, IT governance, IT balanced scorecard, ITIL assessments, ITIL software tools, service management outsourcing, human aspects of ITIL projects, value generation by ITIL, etc.
