ITIL®, ISO/IEC 20000 & CobIT:
The Perfect Combination to go from Service Management to IT Governance

featuring Ricard
Pons Pallares, itSMF Spain and member of the Technical Experts Council of IBM
SPGI

Good practice
frameworks like ITIL®, ISO/IEC 20000 and the CobIT governance framework are
complementary towards one another and when combined effectively can improve the
overall effectiveness of your service management implementation.  Ricard Pons
Pallares, will demonstrate this in his case study of a major bank's project that
combined an ITIL® implementation with a compliance initiative including both CobIT and ISO/IEC 20000.  The
project also demonstrates how an organization can begin their implementation
using some of the basic Service Delivery and Support processes from v2 and
integrate advanced processes from v3 over time, until the implementation is
complete.

ITIL® /ISO20000
Professional Certification: Myth and Reality
featuring Alejandro
Debenedet, EXIN & itSMF Argentina

This conference will
bring clarity regarding the link between the value of certification and ITSM
practice whether based on ITIL® or ISO/IEC 20000 or both. It will include the
individual's perspective and the organization's benefits: What is there for me?
What can certifications do for me and my current organization? How can I really
know which certification and level to choose from? Will this help in the current
business reality? Does it really prove one's competencies and benefit the
organization? What is the real and perceived value? Even if your company is not
seeking certification, this session will provide information about the value of
certification that may assist you in your selection of service
providers.

14:45 Buenos Aires / 19:45 Madrid:

Roundtable
discussion featuring the event's speakers taking questions from the
