OGC have commissioned a number of white papers which are aimed at supporting the ongoing development, effectiveness, and practical application of ITIL. The Alignment White Paper series illustrates how the ITIL portfolio aligns with other standards.
The latest one in the series is about the alignment between ISO/IEC 20000 and ITIL V3 which has been written by Dr Jenny Dugmore and Sharon Taylor.
ISO/IEC 20000 Certification book joins ITSM Library
itSMF International has announced "Implementing ISO/IEC 20000 Certification – the Roadmap" as its latest addition to the ITSM Library. The book is aimed at companies planning to achieve full accreditation within the international standard.
A thorough and practical guide, the book has been put together by experts with real experience of how ISO/IEC 20000 works in the real world.

Two new Chinese titles announced for the ITSM Library
itSMF International has announced Chinese language versions of two of the most popular titles in the ITSM Library. Service Agreements for IT Management: A Management Guide provides a comprehensive overview of service management, together with a framework for the implementation of service management, and models for the development of a service catalogue and for the negotiation and development of service agreements.
