About Me:
Mr. McCraley has extensive experience managing strategic initiatives and consulting within the financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare industries as a senior project manager. He develops executive-level relationships that translate to practical experience encompassing planning, executing, and implementing strategic solutions, formulating enterprise goals, roadmaps, and approaches. Specific implementations include business continuity/disaster recovery, technology, operations, PMO, infrastructure, risk, and business solutions. For example, Chris led risk, infrastructure, compliance, PMO deployments, disaster recovery, technology management, change management and Y2K projects at Credit Suisse, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, ING/Barings, and Lehman Brothers. At Merrill Lynch, he worked closely with business leaders to create the recovery framework that enabled the investment bank to recover and continue business throughout the periods surrounding the 9/11 disaster. As a result, this business continuity framework was used as a model to use in the firm’s trading and operations areas. In addition, Chris worked with technology and business to ensure the continued compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, NASD Rule 3510, and NYSE Rule 446. As a technology manager, he also implemented a change management and quality assurance framework, reducing technology’s response time to the business. Chris began his financial services career as an investment advisor at Prudential Securities (now part of Wachovia Securities) and as a business analyst at Lehman Brothers. At Prudential, he advised clients and traded diverse instruments, including, debt and equity syndicate offerings, derivatives, and managed portfolios. At Lehman Brothers, he designed and implemented an optical storage system and regulatory capital (SEC Rule 15c3-3) system that saved the firm substantial regulatory and operations costs. Chris earned his MBA in Information Systems at Pace University and his BS in Finance and Accounting at Indiana University, where he was also awarded Phi Beta Kappa for his studies in economics. He also attended The Juilliard School, under scholarship, studying classical piano. There he trained with world-renowned pianists and teachers, Ania Dorfman and Beveridge Webster. In addition, he performed throughout the United States on stage and on live TV. Chris has earned credentials as Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from DRII. He had also been NASD-registered as an investment advisor, earning Series 7, 63, 65; and life and health insurance licenses.
